Additional Needs

The Bicknell Family Center for the Arts is an impressive facility but there is still need for private support to complete all aspects of the building in terms of construction, equipment and programming. The naming opportunities still available.
  • Equipment Needs
  • Programming Needs

Private support is needed to complete this space, including lighting appropriate for art exhibitions, a security system, display pedestals and other specialized equipment. The naming opportunity for the gallery is available.

The Bicknell Center staff is in the process of installing a variety of specialized equipment in both performances spaces related to lighting, sound, video projection and recording capabilities.  The Center staff is in the process of identifying additional equipment needs throughout the facility that will enable the University to present performances and exhibitions of the highest caliber in this beautiful setting.

The University already has in place the Performing Arts and Lecture Series, numerous events presented by Campus Activities, and annual programming presented by the Departments of Art, Communication, and Music in the Bicknell Center. Other academic departments and programs across the campus may utilize the Bicknell Center for lectures, conferences, and special events. Additional support from foundations, corporate underwriting, and other donors will help that programming expand.

Seat plaques are available in the Linda & Lee Scott Performance Hall in recognition of gifts at the $500 and $1,000 levels.
